Meet the boys
For years a common site in the summer was a rather portly old Beagle sunning himself in the European Motors driveway. But old Chester passed away in July 2007, making way for two new faces. Maverick and Remington are pure bred beagle brothers who were born on September 15th, 2007.
Nate remembers going to look at a litter of Beagles in Spring City and being overwhelmed by their cuteness. He wasn't even sure he wanted a new dog, after the passing of Chester, but sure enough he came home with two puppies.
Maverick and Remington are very well behaved and enjoy sleeping most of the day. What a surprise! Stop in to meet The Boys

European Motors Volvo goes way back...
In 1970 European Motors was founded by Thomas A. Beil in Reading, Pennsylvania. The company was created to service all kinds of European made vehicles. Shortly after beginning in business Tom, most commonly known as, Volvo Tom, recognized the exceptional engineering that the Volvo brand of cars offered. He slowly moved his business toward working exclusively on Volvos. Sometime in the mid 70's, Volvo Tom had so many requests from customers to help find used cars, that Tom decided to open a used car business.
Since that time European Motors has offered Volvos for sale and at their business location, 2861 Perkiomen Avenue Reading, PA 19606. You may still find Tom lurking under the hood of a Volvo, but European Motors is now owned and operated by his son, Nathan Beil.
Nate, who graduated from Millersville University with a degree in Mechanical Technology, joined his father full time at European Motors in 2005. Nate grew up at European Motors and spent many hours under the hood of Volvos, working side by side with his father. You will often see him with his company mascots, Maverick and Remington, commonly known as The Boys
, these young beagles warmly greet customers as they stop in to look at cars or stop by for Volvo service at European Motors. Together Tom and Nathan have specialized in finding clean, well-cared-for, used cars.
European Motors is one of the few automotive dealerships where you can purchase your new car and have it serviced by the very same person who assisted you in the sales process. Each Volvo sold by European Motors is serviced by Nate. Nate and Volvo Tom
are the only employees. When dealing with their company, you are talking to the sales person and the automotive technician as well.
